I have a new appreciation for this place. We noticed the meu was different and went for the Mac and cheese.. it's thick, creamy, and so flavorful! Hands down, best we've ever had. My father says he's eaten Mac and cheese all over the world and it's a 10 in his book.

This place was busy as can be today; mostly frequented by locals who all seemed to know one another. Though busy, service was excellent, friendly and attententive. My wife's Cali Eggs Benedict was excellent; bursting with flavor, one of the very best she claims. My eggs were cooked exactly how I like them; the kielbasa was not your run of the mill bargain bait and switch garden variety, this was kielbasa with a pedigree. Savory Skillet only does breakfast. Their menu is chockfull of unusual and interesting riffs on the diner breakfast classics. The menu is a unique standout among those catering to the hungry breakfast crowd. Stop by give'm try, I think you'll be impressed with their creative breakfast art form. These folks see and do things differently in the diner biz.

We were hungry and headed out of Bolton. Decided to try the Savory Skillet and had a really great breakfast! It is clear that the place is revered by locals! Many walked in the door and were met with coffee as soon as they sat! We decided on Benedict's; traditional for me with grilled English muffins and Irish with homemade hash for Wayne. We order the hollandaise on the side so it doesn't "take over" the food! Great coffee and perfectly done potatoes - all so tasty! Al

A hole in the wall breakfast/lunch place. Didn't even come up on my imaps. Great food, atmosphere and service. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because since they close at 1 o'clock and they're so popular there's usually a wait to sit down. I wish they would stay open until at least 2:00

Great food. Real homemade hash, huge portions. Really good service. Creamy grits were excellent. I wish it was closer to home.

We stopped by here while staying at the Great Wolf lodge nearby. This classic American diner is exactly what the family needed. Homemade corn beef hash, large pancakes, sourdough and rye toast with a heaping pile of home fries and bacon. The servers were helpful and offered fast service, and while the parking lot looked full, we were seated quickly. My only regret is I didn't order the Blueberry Bacon Jam Goat Cheese Grilled Turkey sandwich.

Quick service and delicious food! They had all the basics & price was super fair! Our first time here I came with my son and bf. We had to pick up his car which was an hour away so decided to stop by for some breakfast. It did not disappoint! Spacious as well and the bathroom was super clean (I have a tendency to recognize this right away lol)

Breakfast, Yum! I stopped here today and had the El Paso Breakfast "special" 3 eggs with steak tips smothered in peppers & onions with a biscuit & a side of grits. Yum! Sat up at the counter and the waitstaff is spot on. Coffee kept flowing without asking and they couldn't be more pleasant! They're a breakfast and lunch only place thats definitely worth a stop. You won't leave hungry! Sorry. I'll work on my pics! It just looked so good I dropped my phone and gobbled it up! lol
